John Hassall supplies custom-formed and machined parts utilized in a variety of medical applications. These parts typically perform life-critical functions that require extreme precision and very narrow tolerances. Where durability is a concern, John Hassall can produce medical electronic and electro-mechanical components using high strength alloys that are either difficult to form or are very difficult to machine. John Hassall supports the medical industry with its ISO 9001:2008 certified U.S-based custom manufacturing capabilities, complemented by an in-house heat-treating facility and metallurgical laboratory certified to NADCAP and AS 9102 standards for defense-related medical equipment.

2die/3 blow headers with induction heaters for warm forming; open die and single die headers, as well as multi-die parts formers for cold heading; pointers; trimmers; re-headers; a NADCAP certified heat treat facility capable of vacuum solution treatment and aging, induction annealing, atmospheric hardening and tempering; multi-axis CNC machining; auto-fed CNC centerless grinding; specialty surface grinding; auto-fed CNC chucking; broaching; bar-fed CNC Swiss turning; threading (flat die & tri-roll); milling & drilling; electrical discharge machining; burnishing; deburring; PWA/LCS approved metallurgical laboratory for both destructive and non-destructive testing, micro & macro evaluations of materials and parts; assembling; EDI; bar coding; ISO 9001:2008 / QS 9000 certification.

John Hassall offers a long tradition of unsurpassed quality and price competitiveness at its 65,000 square foot US based manufacturing facility. For parts not ideally suited for domestic manufacturing, we offer the option of importing special cold-formed metal parts, as well as precision-machined components from two time-tested high quality sources in Japan and China. All such product is distributed under the purview of Hassall’s general quality systems and procedures.
